| NATUROPATHY |
The basis of Naturopathy is the belief that our body has an innate ability to heal itself. The body, mind and spirit are viewed as a complex whole and disease as the result of an imbalance on all these levels. Naturopathy looks beyond the symptoms to the actual causes of illness, and focuses on eliminating and treating the cause rather than suppressing symptoms.
A Naturopath aims to educate, empower and motivate the patient to take personal responsibility for his or her health by adopting a healthy attitude, lifestyle and diet. Prevention of disease is accomplished through naturopathic education – building a lifestyle that supports health and wellbeing.
Naturopathy employs safe and effective natural therapies that will support and stimulate the healing power of nature in the gentlest, least invasive and most efficient manner possible. Our highly qualified naturopaths use herbal medicine, nutrition, supplements, dietary and lifestyle changes and homeopathy to restore the body's innate healing potential.
An initial appointment with a Naturopath will take between 1- 1.5 hours in which your medical history and general lifestyle will be reviewed in order to determine a treatment plan to suit your individual needs. Naturopathy is suitable for everyone, from infants to seniors.
