Swedish Massage is generally regarded as the most common form of Massage Therapy. This technique uses long, slow, gliding strokes to relax and invigorate the body, and the pressure used is often light to moderate. The main aim of this massage is to improve general well-being, by reducing mental stress and overall body tension.

*Most private health funds now recognise Massage Therapy, but it does depend on your level of cover and the level of qualifications of the individual therapist. To help, read this article: Which Massage Therapist for me?
