After completing a Bachelor of Science majoring in Anatomy and then spending 1 year travelling around Europe and Africa, I continued my studies to complete a Masters of Chiropractic in 2000. I have continued studing other techniques that complement each other as well as my philosophy of helping and stimulating the body to heal itself. Many of these techniques are low force and gentle, so together with the traditional chiropractic techniques I can tailor my treatment to the individuals needs and the requirements for the symptoms and the individual case.
I use muscle testing as a diagnostic tool, which allows me to use responses from the body and its nervous system to give me information about what is going wrong with body and how best to correct that. By allowing the body to give me relevant information as to what is happening in the body, I am not making any assumptions as to what I think the body needs.
I use techniques that not only affect the bony structure of the body, but also the muscular system and balance there of, as well as the organ system. The body is a complex structure made of many systems that work very closly and interrelated, so one can not correct imbalances by only addressing one aspect of health. I utilise various techniques to address these syptoms and imbalances, but more importantly addressing the underlying cause of these symptoms. Once the symptoms are improving other techniques can then be used to get the body out of its old pattern of pain and therefore make the body stronger and more stable.
