What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a safe and gentle complementary health care system that focuses on the assessment, treatment and prevention of imbalances of the musculoskeletal system. As such it helps relieve muscular, joint and body pains and stiffness, including:
- Back pain
- Headaches
- Migraines
- Shoulder pain
- Jaw pain
- Knee and ankle pain
- Sciatica
- Neck stiffness
- Pinched nerves
- Muscle weakness
And many more.
Chiropractic works to balance the skeletal system and the muscular system to allow normal and efficient functioning of these systems. By having a freely moving skeletal system the nervous system will also be able to function freely and optimally. This reduces the potential for muscle tightness, pinched nerves and joint stiffness and inflammation.
By improving the ability of the Nervous System to function, chiropractic treatment can have other follow on benefits and effects. Chiropractic may also help with:
- Low energy
- Poor immunity
- Poor posture

Some techniques adjust the skeleton and these vary from being done by hand or with the use
of an activator. While others balance the muscles and function of the nervous system and
physiology as a whole.
